Front Page Featured Advertising For less than £1 a week!

Dorset Live has since 2012 been a totally ‘Free’ service for the Entertainment businesses in Dorset and most of that still remains the same. Everyone can list themselves, their bands, live music venues, restaurants and all events totally free of charge. However, there are of course costs involved in running Dorset Live, this website is just one example, so we have decided to introduce a featured membership.

For just £50 per year musicians, venues, organisers and restaurants can have front page advertising on our website and a dedicated page detailing themselves. Dorset Live membership will also give members enhanced promoting of their dedicated pages through all our social media sites and we link our events calendar to any members Gmail calendars so we are automatically notified of their events and can add them easily. All this for less than £1 a week.

With over 9,000 Twitter followers it became an impossible task to keep track of all events happening in Dorset so we have now decided that the only way we can manage the Twitter account is to only follow DL Members and then retweet all others that add either @Dorset_Live or #DorsetLive to their own Tweets. This will help to ensure we concentrate purely on promoting events that are happening in Dorset.

One of the main reasons we have decided to do add the premium membership to Dorset Live is, if it is successful it will help to fund projects such as a Dorset Live App for smartphones which will further increase our ability to promote entertainment in Dorset and make it far easier for us to keep everyone informed about what is happening, when and where, here in Dorset.
